The Yamakasi are a group of practitioners of the sport of l'art du déplacement.....
Have you ever seen some really crazy stunts in certain movies and have you said “Dude,That’s like totally fake , How can a guy jump from building to building without getting hurt???etc.”.
Well if u did do so you’re wrong, you probably saw Les Yamakasi at work….Some of the coolest stunts on earth I have ever seen have been performed by the Yamakasi and I felt they had to be included in one of the posts in my blog / our blog (Nishant and I).
This is the Double post I was talking about......
Parkour is a physical discipline of French origin quite similar to Yamakasi in which the participant who is called a traceur attempts to pass obstacles in the fastest and most direct manner possible, using skills such as jumping, vaulting and climbing, or the more specific parkour moves.
David Belle is the founder of parkour and its most famous practitioner.
In 2004 Belle starred in the film Banlieue 13, which featured a number of Parkour sequences.

It may look easy but trust me it isnt...An action sequence in the James Bond film, Casino Royale, is a construction site roof-top chase that implements many aspects of Parkour. Sebastien Foucan, the founder of the similar sport free running, plays a small-time terrorist after whom James Bond is chasing.
And that's where inspiration is drawn from. But still, I beg: NONE OF YOU TRY IT AT HOME!
Now, all of you people say, if man was born to fly, he would've been given wings. But here, wings are a state of mind.
THESE wings, are a state of self-confidence, self-assurance, and hope. And if you want to sprout wings,
just believe.
Look at it this way. Practice makes perfect, but thoughts lead to practice.

The ending of the 2nd video clip - when the 2 guys jump off the bldg into the other guy's room - is so unbelieveable! It's so cool that those ppl actually jump and it's nt some comp effect.
