Yesterday , I went to see Casino Royale with some frends.
We Entered the over-crowded hall of Grand Cineplex Dubai and sat in our second row seats.
The movie started off pretty ok but not as I expected.All bond movies have one solid opening scene, but this was a jumble of men runnin around from one part of the city to another part and finally reachin a construction site or rather a really high crane in a construction site and jumpin from crane to crane playing catch like 1000 feat above da ground wid guns with limited bullets.It was kool but just not Bond-like.It was missing something..The whole movie was.It seemed as if they were MAKING SURE they got the action , comedy , suspense and romance into the movie and it dint seem to come natural(it may have been the acting).
Anyways it was like a Hindi movie with English Actors and Rajnikanth action scenes to top it all off.
It dint really have a main plot...It seemed to move to fast and unfortunaltely I strongly felt that the so called "twists" in the movie were there just for fun.
Although, bond is bond whether its 007 or chemistry and I felt that the movie on the whole was very good ...The stunts were still good and the car(S) were too good for words and the food well.hehe....created a new snack for the movies(ask nishant) i used to eat it all the time but for him it was a novelty.Certain scenes were just plain funny even though they were the most suspenseful scenes in the movie..one of the reasons I found it funny may have been bcos I was sitting next to "Crazy dude in Purple shirt"
Well da movie got over at around 11 30 and we were bored so we went to play pool and now dats were da fun started ....I decided to hav a game wid Crazy dude in Purple shirt a.k.a Mat"high"achin .The stakes were high and it was all very INTENSE :-P(for all 9th grade guys)...and so the Shawarma game began and i broke...IT was his turn then and for some reason he laughed ...not laughed he LAUGHED and continued to laugh and went on and on ...but u see the funny part was ..THERE WAS NUTHIN to laugh about .....It was never ending ....Finally he played and well lets just say he owes me a Shawarma ..
Gradually one by one everyone left and i was left with my fellow 9-B, Hindi taking friends ...we played a game of pool and when we finished we walked out beggining the first few seconds of a new day with a sweet cool fragelent breeze and a phone call from Crazy dude....we walked for a while lookin for a cab we cudnt find one for like 15 mins but we dint mind since da weather was way too good....We got into the cab and had this really wierd cab-driver ....I dont think my fellow hindi frends understood what he said and I wish i dint cos it was kinda wierd.....Anyways dats sumthin I wont be revealin in my current story....
I reached my stop wished dem luck and walked home..Got up at 1:30 da next day ..today.
Thats the end of it ....It was a good change from the current scene at school wid all da Teachers w/papers and all dat.

Well. It seems like I did miss something. Yeah it was fun to be together after a long time, and not in uniform, although Mr. Math-i-vichchun defied the rules :p Yes, popcorn and nacho cheese was a novelty and a damn good one at that. Thanks :P. Nice post. I didnt think that Royale was a bollywood-like movie, I quite enjoyed it. Not as much as you though, laughing through inappropriate scenes. Kapil. *shakes head*. :P Nice post. heyy. i'm pretty clueless about the movie cause i haven't seen it but i sure want to. many ppl told me it rocked.. u r puttin me off the movie a bit by the whole 'rajnikanth action scenes'... lol. oh dts wt those randome things are aftr ur name. nw i get it loll. thats a nice voting thing in ur post. anyway, nice post, nice blog. byee.

Casino royale...i've seen it...its pretty cool not one of the best bond movies though...did you know hez the only blonde bond...btw how do you knw bout rajnikanth action scenes??hehe...

Yest i sw Golden eye another Bond movie...but i still couldnt figure out that 1 thing that was in Golden eye that wasnt in Casino Royale...
But still I must say Casino Royale was good..
Anyways My next post wont be anytime soon ..maybe in 3-4 days or more ..Although im going to say this much Ders an 80% chance I will be writin about something diff ..somethin dat hopefully none of u hav herd about...
